COFFEY, ALVIS MAYNARD, age 76, of Talbott, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2004. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church and was retired from Jefferson City Cabinet Company.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lola Edith Coffey, and three brothers.

Survivors include his brothers and sisters-in-law, Vernon and Mary Ann Coffey, of Morristown, Dean and Ludell Coffey, of Knoxville, Truman and Ann L. Coffey, of Morristown and Wayne and Betty Coffey, of Bean Station; sisters and brother-in-law, Mabel Roberts, of Talbott, and Faye and Robert Spurgeon, of Morristown; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, March 26, 2004, at Northside Baptist Church with the Rev. Barry Warren, the Rev. Lee Seal and the Rev. Glenn Suffridge officiating. The body will lie in state for one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in Hamblen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Thursday, March 25 at Stubblefield Funeral Home. Arrangements are being handled by Stubblefield Funeral Home in Morristown.

Alvis Maynard Coffey and Lola Edith Estes were married on 5 February 1949 in Hamblen Co., TN.38506 Lola Edith Estes, daughter of Robet Roy Estes and Myrtle Marshall, was born on 31 July 1924 in Hamblen Co., TN. Lola died in Hamblen Co., TN on 14 June 1994 and was buried at Hamblen Memory Gardens in Morristown, Hamblen Co., TN in June 1994 .38507
