Funeral for Carl Warren, who died Saturday, May 1, 1999, at National Healthcare Center in Moulton, was held Monday, May 3.

The 11 a.m. service was held at Moulton Church of Christ with Hoyt Nelson and Ray McWhorter officiating.

Burial was the Moulton Memory Gardens with Elliott Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Warren was born in Lawrence County. He built several homes, churches and hospitals in the Tennessee Valley. Mr. Warren worked also on construction at Redstone Arsenal, the former Courtland Air Base and Fort McClellan military base.

He was the widower of Onie Coffey Warren, who died Dec, 25, 1989. Survivors include his wife, Ruby Goodwin Waren; one son, William Wyman Warren of Moulton; two stepsons, Kenneth Robert Goodwin of Moulton and Tommy Goodwin of Hillsboro; one daughter, Peggy Warren Gentry of Moulton; four stepdaughters, Ruby Jean Thompson of Decatur, Lina Harris of Hillsboro and Judy Underwood and Dianne Blaxton, both of Moulton; one sister, Willie Myrle Warren Strickland of Rockledge, Fla.; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Grandsons were the pallbearers.

Memorials may be made to Moulton Church of Christ building renovation fund.

Funeral for William Wyman Warren, 72, of Moulton will be Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Moulton Church of Christ with Ray McWhorter, Hoyt Nelson and Bill Becker officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing. The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service. 

Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mr. Warren, who died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007, at Decatur General Hospital, was born Aug. 14, 1934, in Lawrence County to Carl Warren and Onie Coffey Warren. During his 72 years, he was a U.S. Army veteran, an avid farmer, producing fruits, vegetables and beef, and did community service keeping Alabama beautiful. He loved life and did his best to keep his word and tried to be a good neighbor. He always said "to have a neighbor, you had to be a neighbor". We need more neighbors like Wyman Warren.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Warren; three sons, Mark Warren and his wife, Sherry, Michael Warren and his wife, Sandra, and Adam Warren and his wife, Baronica, all of Moulton; six grandchildren, Craig Warren, Daniel Warren, Amanda Warren, Ivey Warren, Lyndsie Warren and Reagan Warren; one sister, Peggy Gentry and her husband, Wayne, of Moulton; and nieces and nephews, Dwayne McKelvey, Greg Gentry, Karen Gentry, James Reed and David Reed. 

Pallbearers will be Mark Warren, Michael Warren, Adam Warren, Phil Sanderson, Clyne Reeves and Scott Smith.
