Mabel Mae Everitt, 89, formerly of Love, passed away at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2008, at Golden Living Center in Buena Vista with her family by her side. 

Born May 11, 1918, in Augusta County, she was a daughter of the late Oliver Everett and Myrtle Coffey Wilhelm. 

She was a homemaker and a member of Mountain Top Christian Church in Love. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years, George Ray Everitt on October 5, 1980; two sisters, Elva Brocato and Ruby Brubaker. 

Survivors include three daughters, Betty Sensabaugh and her husband, William, of Stuarts Draft, Linda Pace and her husband, Charles, of Crimora, Vivian Wilson and her husband, Lewis, of Craigsville; a brother, Luther Wilhelm of New Hope; eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild to be born. 

A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, January, 26, 2008, at Mountain Top Christian Church with Pastors Paul Land and Billy Coffey officiating. 

Burial will follow in the church cemetery. 

Active pallbearers will be Paul Everitt, Ronnie Everitt, Johnny Brocato, Jay James, Tony Schmidt and David Brubaker.

Mable Mae Wilhelm and George Ray Everitt were married circa 1966. George Ray Everitt was born on 25 February 1918 in Virginia. George died in Virginia on 5 October 1980 and was buried at Mountain Top Christian Church Cemetery in Love, Nelson Co, VA in October 1980 .30277
