STONINGTON - Louise Coffey, 89, of Stonington died 9:40 a.m. Monday (March 14, 2005) in ManorCare Health Services. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in McClure Funeral Home, Taylorville, with the Rev. Dick Wamsley officiating. Visitation will be one hour before services. Burial will be in Mount Auburn Cemetery. Memorials: Cystic Fibrosis or American Lung Association.

Mrs. Coffey was born April 29, 1915, in Blue Mound, the daughter of Gustavia and Lena Robb Reinhardt. She worked for the Illinois secretary of state. She married James K. Coffey on Jan. 25, 1936, in Stonington. He preceded her Jan. 11, 1997.

Surviving are her sons, Roger Coffey of Davenport, Iowa; Mark Coffey and wife Peggy of Mount Auburn; grandchildren, Brandi Clayton and husband Jeremy of Mount Auburn; Kara McCullough and husband Tad of Taylorville; great-grandchildren, Logan, Levi and Hannah Clayton and Averi McCullough; sister, Evelyn Richardson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sisters.
