Coffey, David, 79, Richmond, Rt. 5, died at 12:30 a.m. Sunday at the VA Hospital, Lexington after a long illness. He was a native of Estill County and member of the Union City Christian Church. Survivors are his wife, Kitty Marshall Coffey, one daughter, Mrs. Owen Golden, Richmond, three sisters, Mrs. Noel Stephenson, Mrs. Beulah Story, both of Richmond, Mrs. Homer McDaniels, Midway, three brothers, Clark and Bert Coffey, Richmond, Robert Coffey, Lexington, two grandsons, Billy and Kenny Golden, both of Richmond, one great-grandson. Funeral services will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Turpin Funeral Home, Richmond by the Rev. Glen Embry with burial in the Richmond Cemetery.

David C. Coffey and Kittie Marshall were married circa 1929 in Madison Co., KY.
