Odell E. V. Coffey and Julia M. Kilgore were married. Julia M. Kilgore was born on 21 November 1921 in Binger, Caddo Co., OK. Julia died in Farmington, San Juan Co., NM on 11 October 2004 and was buried at Flora Vista Cemetery in Flora Vista, San Juan Co., NM on 15 October 2004 .43970

Julia M. Coffey, 82, a resident of Farmington, passed from this life Monday evening, Oct. 11, 2004, at San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington. Mrs. Coffey was born Nov. 21, 1921, in Binger, Okla., the daughter of Artie Marvin Killgore and Mary Della (Havens) Killgore. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and, above all else, a dear friend to all who knew her. A truly dignified lady who was always there to help anyone in need. Among her hobbies were crocheting and making quilts. She was proud of her family and of their accomplishments. She will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Coffey is survived by three sons, Leon K. Coffey and wife, Faith, of Bernalillo, Larry M. Coffey and wife, Delories, of Bloomfield, and Loyd D. Coffey and wife, Cathy, of Brandon, Fla.; six brothers, Veral Killgore and wife, Erma, of Bloomfield, Don Killgore and wife, LoEtta, of Payson, Ariz., Harold (Von) Killgore and wife, Adele, also of Payson, Robert C. Killgore and wife, Edythe, of Aztec, Marvin L. Killgore and wife, Alta, of Marble Falls, Texas, and Eddie L. Killgore and wife, Minnie, of Coldwater, Kan.; sisters, June Salisbury and husband, Chuck, of Coldwater, and Jane Shorter and husband, Francis, of Allison, Colo.; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and three great-great-granddaughters. Also surviving is Mrs. Coffey’s good friend, Gean Sligar of Bloomfield.

Mrs. Coffey was preceded in death by her husband, Odell Coffey, in 1998; son, Elvin Darrell Coffey, in 1943; and most recently, a great-grandson, Cleve Noble III, in 2003.

Friends may call and visit the family from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 14 at Cope Memorial Chapel of Farmington, 404 W. Arrington St., and also from 8 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 15.

A celebration of Mrs. Coffey’s life will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 15 at Piñon Hills Community Church, 2400 N. Butler Ave., with Jack Wheat officiating. She will then be laid to rest at Flora Vista Cemetery in Flora Vista.

Pallbearers will be Rod Coffey, Ned Coffey, Ryan Coffey, Brandon Noble, Kory Coffey, and Kalon Coffey. Honorary pallbearers are Gean Sligar, Greg McBroom, Mark McBroom, Brian Williams, Allen Coffey, Jason Sanchez and Caleb Noble.
