Ernest Bullington, 79, of Corning, Ark., died Sunday, March 6, 2005, at his residence.

Mr. Bullington was born on Oct. 2, 1925, in Senath. He was a member of the Knobel Church of Christ in Knobel, Ark. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in World War II. He was a retired mail carrier and farmer.

On Jan. 20, 1947, he married Dephane Joyce Fairchild at Piggott, Ark. She preceded him in death on March 26, 2004.

Survivors include three daughters Linda Duncan and Lois Wright, both of Corning, Ark., Lucy Hancock of Knobel, Ark.; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning, Ark. The funeral will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Corning Church of Christ. Burial will be in the Corning Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Paragould Children's Home in Paragould, Ark., or the Bond Cemetery Association in Knobel, Ark.

Ernest Bullington and Dephane Joyce Fairchild were married on 20 January 1947 in Piggott, Clay Co., AR. Dephane Joyce Fairchild was born on 25 February 1929 in Delaplaine, Greene Co., AR. Dephane died in Corning, Clay Co., AR on 26 March 2004 and was buried at Corning Cemetery in Corning, Clay Co., AR in March 2004 .⁴⁶⁹²²

Dephane Joyce Bullington, 75, of Corning, Ark., died Friday March 26, 2004, at her residence.

Mrs. Bullington was born Feb. 25, 1929, at Delaplaine, Ark. She was a member of the Knobel Church of Christ and a homemaker and gardener.

On Jan. 20, 1947, she married Ernest Bullington at Piggott, Ark. He survives.

Other survivors include three daughters, Linda Duncan and Lois Wright, both of Corning and Lucy Hancock of Knobel, Ark.; six sisters, Wanda Lee Pate of Cashe, Ark., Nona Fae Penney and Rosetta Howard Cannon, both of Paragould, Ark., Josie Vines of Little Rock, Patricia Ann Arnold of Bowling Green, Ky. and Shirley Kay Sparling of Neoga, Ill.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
