LYMAN "JACK" TALMAGE BERRY JR., 74, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2007, in the Hospice House of Huntington. He was born December 8, 1932, in Huntington, W.Va., to the late Lyman Talmage Berry Sr. and Jean Berry.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy Berry. He was a member of Fifth Avenue Baptist Church, the Marshall Alumni Association, and he retired from Special Metals.

Jack is survived by his wife, Connie A. Berry; three children, Rob Berry and wife Mitzi of Newport News, Va., Lynne Stevenson and husband Chuck of Huntington, and David Shawn Berry of West Palm Beach, Fla.; one stepson, Mitch Smalley and wife Stephanie of Raleigh, N.C.; sister Judy Love of Proctorville; 10 grandchildren, Joshua Stevenson of Ashland, Ky., Jennifer Lovett of Buffalo, W.Va., Beth Norman of Orem, Utah, Adam Stevenson of Cincinnati, Ohio, Margaret Wells of Boston, Massachusetts, Lindsay Berry of Virginia Beach, Va., Morgan Reid of Richmond, Va., Travess Smalley of New York City, and Grayson and Caitlyn Smalley both of Raleigh, N.C.; 14 great-grandchildren; and special friend and caregiver Ruth Adkins.

Funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 27, 2007, at Hall Funeral Home by Pastor Jay Love. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 26, 2007, at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Huntington.

Lyman Talmage "Jack" Berry Jr. and Nancy Anne Rogers were married on 30 April 1953 in Huntington, Cabell Co., WV.48480 Nancy Anne Rogers was born in 1935. Nancy died in West Virginia in 1981 and was buried at Ridgelawn Memorial Park in Barboursville, Cabell Co., WV in 1981 .48481
