George L. Coffee

White Deer - George Lloyd Coffee, 62, of 601 Grimes, a White Deer resident 50 years, died Saturday afternoon in his home following a heart attack.

Born in Roberts County, Mr. Coffee graduated from Miami High School, and in 1931 married Vila Douer in White Deer.

He was a member and former chairman of the offical board of the White Deer Methodist Church.

Mr. Coffee helped organize and was one of the first directors of the Performance Registry Internation Hereford breeders organization. He also was a member of the White Deer Masonic Lodge and the Lions Club.

Survivors include his wife; sons douglas of White Deer, Don of Dallas and Ronald of Irving; his stepmother, Mrs. May Coffee of White Deer; brothers, Walter of Eugene Ore., and Harold of Amarillo; sisters, Mrs. Roy Crumpacker of Garden Grove, Calif., and Mrs. Vern Crumpacker of White Deer, and three grandchildren.

George Lloyd Coffee and Viola Joyce Dauer were married on 26 July 1931. Viola Joyce Dauer was born on 26 August 1908. Viola died on 8 February 1994 at the age of 85 in White Deer, Carson Co., TX and was buried at White Deer Cemetery in White Deer, Carson Co., TX.23563,23564
