Ada Carnduff

Ada White Carnduff, 58, of Springfield died at 2 p.m. Tuesday at her residence.

She was born in Pleasant Plains on Jan. 30, 1932, the daughter of Oscar and Ethel Powell Coffey. She was the owner of Ada's Alterations and a member of Harvard Park Baptist Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Diane Mayse of Springfield four sons, Michael and Phillip White of Springfield, Richard White of Battle Creek, Mich., Reginald White of Auburn; three brothers, Hayden Coffey of Virginia, Richard Coffey of California, Dean Coffey of Omaha, Neb.; one sister, Marie Smith of Punta Gorda, Fla.; and nine grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Ashland Cemetery. Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. Sunday at Harvard Park Baptist Church. Dr. John Charlton III will officiate at both services.

Ellinger-Kunz and Davis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Ada Mae Coffey and Robert Carl "Carl" White were married. Robert Carl "Carl" White was born on 19 April 1927 in Ashland, Cass Co., IL. Robert died in Springfield, Sangamon Co., IL on 3 December 1971.
