William Marshall Millet Underwood and Beverly Ann Bennett were married in 1956 in Whitman, Maricopa Co., AZ. Beverly Ann Bennett, daughter of Benjamin Elliot Bennett and Florence Lorraine Bass, was born on 12 November 1937 in Grand Rapids, Kent Co., MI. Beverly died in Maricopa, Pinal Co., AZ on 18 February 2011 and was buried at Globe, Gila Co., AZ on 25 February 2011.47253

Beverly Ann Underwood, age 73 of Globe, Ariz., passed away Friday, Feb. 18, 2011 in Maricopa, Ariz. She was born Nov. 12, 1937 in Grand Rapids, Mich. to Benjamin Elliot Bennet and Florence Lorraine (Bass) Bennet.

Beverly moved to Arizona in 1942 and went to school in Globe as well as Show Low. She married William Underwood in Whitmann, Ariz. in 1956.

Beverly was a housewife, professional cook and expert gardener. Many people remember Beverly from working at the Justa Café in East Globe and the Wal-Mart Garden Center. Her interests were reading books, gardening, hunting, fishing, and more and more books!

She was a member of the Friends of the NRA, and donated regularly to Save the Children Fund and other charities.

Beverly is preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Bill Underwood; daughter, Diann Underwood; and sons, Timothy and Martin.

Beverly is survived by Matthew and Keri Underwood, John Underwood, Richard Underwood, William and Kelly Underwood, Manzel and Stayce Underwood, Edward and Anne Marie Underwood; brother, Ben Bennett; sister, Carol Allen; 22 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is loved and missed by all.

Visitation was held Friday, Feb. 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lamont Mortuary in Globe. Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 26 at 2 p.m. at Lamont Mortuary with graveside services at the Globe Cemetery following.
