Ada Mae Gentry

Ada Mae Gentry, 84, died Sunday, Jan. 23, 2005, at Russell County Hospital in Russell Springs, Ky. She was a resident of Russell Springs, Ky.

She was born March 30, 1919, in Russell County, Ky. Her parents were James Elvert and Ella Rae (Aaron) Coffey. She married Refus Dowell Gentry. He preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, Jerry Gentry of Russell Springs, Ky.; four daughters, Wanda Rhoten of Greenwood, Ella Mae Johnson and Joan Shaw, both of Russell Springs, Ky., and Judy Campbell of Columbia, Ky.; a stepson, Eldon Gentry of Russell Springs, Ky.; a brother, Walton Coffey of New Albany; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was a homemaker.

J.D. Melson, Jimmy Coffey and Eddie Mohr will conduct a service at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N. Main St. in Russell Springs, Ky. Friends may from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be at Clear Springs Cemetery in Russell Springs, Ky.

Ada M. Coffey and Refus D. Gentry were married. Refus D. Gentry was born on 17 October 1914 in Kentucky. Refus died in Kentucky on 6 March 1989 and was buried at Clear Springs Cemetery in Russell Springs, Russell Co., KY on 8 March 1989 .25339,25340
