James A. Coffey and Nebethel Brown were married. Nebethel Brown was born on 24 August 1928 in Russell Springs, Russell Co., KY. Nebethel died in Waldron, Shelby Co., IN on 23 June 2007 and was buried at Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville, Shelby Co., IN in June 2007 .25346

Nebethel Coffey, 78, of Waldron, died Monday, July 23, 2007, at Waldron Health & Rehab Center in Waldron. 

Born Aug. 24, 1928, in Russell Springs, Ky., she was the daughter of W.R. and Flora (Bennett) Brown. 

She married James A. Coffey, and he preceded her in death. 

Survivors include her daughter, Debbie (husband, Jeff) Hammond of Shelbyville; sons, Randy (wife, Nancy) Coffey of Shelbyville and Kim (wife, Michele) Coffey of Nineveh; sisters, Ann (husband, Paul) Stiers of Shelbyville and Lieah Brown of Russell Springs; brother, Fred (wife, Sandra) Brown of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Brandon, Jennifer, Bethany, Charley, Chandler, Rebecca, Clinton and Janell; and great-grandchild, Kaitlin. She also was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, five brothers and great-grandchild, Conner. 

Mrs. Coffey had been a cook at the Shelby County Jail and Shelby County Home. She was also a seamstress. She was a member of Hope's Point Baptist Church. Mrs. Coffey enjoyed fishing and bingo.
