Jones, was born on 17 February 1896 in Indian Territory, Chickasaw Nation, OK. Alvin died in Oklahoma on 12 April 1979 and was buried at Lightning Ridge Cemetery in Roff, Pontotoc Co., OK in April 1979 .⁴⁰⁹⁰⁶
