STONINGTON - Lillian Boldini, 69, of Stonington died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2001, at Memorial Medical Center.

She was born Aug. 5, 1932, in Decatur, the daughter of Elmer and Minnie Bliler Coffey. She married Bert Boldini in 1957. She was preceded in death by a son, Samuel P. Boldini.

Mrs. Boldini was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Stonington, Dog Patch Oldies and Sunshine Sisters of Stonington Baptist Church.

Survivors: husband, Bert; a son, Steven P. Boldini of Stonington; a brother, Leon Coffey of Stonington; a sister, Helen Porter of Taylorville; and several nieces and nephews.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Connolly-McClure Funeral Home in Taylorville, Cindy Rettig and Billy Bob Howard officiating. Burial: Ponting Cemetery.

Bertthen Boldini, son of Sisto Boldini and Germaine Lamorille, was born on 3 December 1922 in Stonington, Christian Co., IL. Bertthen died in Springfield, Sangamon Co., IL on 17 January 2017 and was buried at Stonington, Christian Co., IL on 21 January 2017.47322,47323

Berthen P. “Bert” Boldini, 84, of Stonington passed away at 4:56 a.m. on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. He was born on December 3, 1932 in Stonington, the son of Sisto and Germaine (Lamorille) Boldini. He married Lillian “Lil” Coffey on October 26, 1957 in Stonington and she preceeded him in death on September 20, 2001.

Bert worked for 43 years at the ADM East plant in Decatur at a prep operator. He was a member of the Ponting Cemetery Association Board and a former scout leader for many years. Bert and Lil enjoyed traveling, camping, and hosting family and friends for gatherings in their gazebo. Bert also enjoyed reading and was an avid NASCAR fan.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Steve and Annette Boldini of Stonington, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son: Sam P. Boldini; brother: Samuel O. Boldini; sisters: Palmyre Whittaker and Margaret Robinson.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at McClure Funeral Home in Taylorville with Rev. Steve Robinson officiating. There will be no visitation. Inurnment will take place at Ponting Cemetery in Stonington.
