William Hunter Biby, 79, of 25 Fayette Street, died Saturday, December 26, 2015, in Augusta Nursing and Rehab Center, Fishersville.

He was born February 26, 1936, in Augusta County, a son of the late Herbert Samuel Biby and Bessie May (Terry) Cobb.

He was a retired painter.

Family members include four daughters, Delores Biby, Terri Biby, Bridgette Biby, and Billie Jean Biby; and a brother, Jerry L. Biby.

There will be no public visitation or services.

Henry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

A living couple was married in 1982 in Staunton, Independent City., VA.43098 Emory Herbert Biby, son of Herbert Samuel Biby and Bessie Mae Tyree, was born on 1 September 1931 in Virgiia. Emory died in Staunton, Independent City., VA on 2 April 2013 and remains probably cremated. A memorial service was held In Staunton, Independent City., VA at Henry Funeral Home Chapel on 30 April 2013.

He was born on September 1, 1931, in Augusta County, to the late Herbert Samuel and Bessie Mae (Tyree) Biby.

Prior to retirement, he was
employed by the DeJarnette Sanitorium.

Mr. Biby served in the National Guard from May 1949 to May 1955.

He was an avid Redskins and NASCAR fan. He had a great sense of humor and loved country music.

Family members include five children, Sherri Berry, Terry Porch, Scott Biby, Malinda Biby, and Jacqualine Biby; a step-son, Jeff Biby; two brothers, Jerry Biby and Billy Biby; 13 grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Magaline Thompson and a brother, Cletus Biby.

A memorial service will be conducted at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2013, in the
Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Charles A. McFarlin.
