Roscoe Lee Coffey

Roscoe Lee Coffey, 95, of South Boundary Avenue, husband of the late Marjorie Young Coffey, died Friday, Dec. 24, 2004 at his residence. Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. from the graveside in Aiken Memorial Park. The Rev. Larry Scales will officiate. A native of Marble, N.C., Mr. Coffey was a son of the late Virgil Lee and Nora Bryson Coffey. He moved to Aiken in 1954 to work as the purchasing agent for the Aiken County School District. He retired from Aiken County Public Schools as the director of the Aiken County Vocational Center. Survivors include three children, Patricia Coffey Bunnell and Lisa K. Coffey, both of Aiken, and Kay Young Coffey of Albany, N.Y., one granddaughter, Kimberly Adams Keeffer and two great-grandchildren, Alexandria Sloan Coffey and Charles Adams Keeffer. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 7044, Columbia, SC 29202 or the Arthritis Foundation, 5019 Nations Crossing, Bld. 7, Ste. 215, Charlotte, NC 28217. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home.

Rosco Lee Coffey and Marjorie Young were married. Marjorie Young was born in 1913. Marjorie died in 1995 and was buried at Aiken, Aiken Co., SC in 1995.32118
