Kenneth James Coffey, 43, of Blue Print Court, Crouse, formerly of Lenoir, died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014, at Caldwell UNC Health Care. He was born May 21, 1971, in Caldwell County to the late James L. and Joan E. Griffin Coffey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Tommy Coffey, and one sister, Kathy Coffey.

Mr. Coffey was a self-employed stone mason and was a member of Mulls Memorial Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Sherri G. Strickland of the home; one stepdaughter, Miranda

M. Strickland; and three sisters, Wendy C. Spears and husband Jerry of Lenoir, Lisa A. Price of Sawmills, and Tammy

D. Miller and husband Gary of Conover.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 5, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Rev. Jeff Self. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
