JEWELL REECE Jewell Reece, age 82, of Morristown and formerly of Claiborne
County, was born November 28, 1919 and passed away March 20, 2002 at the home of her daughter.

She was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Ettie Reece Coffey; husband, Curtis Reece; daughter, Helen Jean Reece; grandson, Allen Johns; brothers: Kawood, Clayton and Morgan Coffey; sister , Alice Hopson and Pauline Coffman.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law: Treva and Lema Clemmons, Rita and Paul Seals both of Tazewell, Freda and Wayne Partin of Morristown, Carolyn and Ed Johns of Tazewell; sons and daughters- in-laws: Henley and Helen Reece of Bean Station, Skip and Janice Reece of Thorn Hill, Jimmy and Donna Reece of Tazewell; 14 grandchildren: 14 great grandchildren: 3 step great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Saturday, March 23 at Coffey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clifton Wilmoth and Howard Beeler officiating. Songs by the Beech Grove Quartet. Burial In Reece Cemetery. Pallbearers: John, Ritchie and Michael Painter, Dean Clemmons, Tony Seals and Adam Reece. Coffey Funeral Home in charge.

Jewel Coffey and Curtis Reece were married. Curtis Reece was born on 22 November 1915. Curtis died in Tennessee in July 1980 but his burial site is unknown to me.
