She was born October 29, 1966 in Caldwell County to Dewey “JD” Coffey Sr. and Mary Coffey Fowler. Brenda was an amazing Christian filled with love, compassion, and encouragement for everyone. Brenda had a tremendous strength in God and was a person of strong faith. She was a loving daughter, sister and friend who was loved by so many including her Fresenius dialysis family. In addition to her parents and step-father Richard Fowler, survivors include five brothers; Dewey Coffey Jr. and wife Misty, Jamie Coffey, Jacob Coffey, Justin Coffey, and Anthony Kaylor all of Lenoir, eight sisters; Betty Duckworth and husband John of Lenoir, Mary Johnson and husband Tracy of Hudson, Rachel Pitts and husband Tim of Lenoir, Sue-Ann Fowler of Shelby, Amy Coffey, April Coffey, Amanda Coffey all of Lenoir, and Jewel Beaver of Sawmills. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date and will be announced by the Coffey Family. |
