Erma Lee Kight, 83, died Thursday, Sept. 19, 1996, at Ponce De Leon Health Care Center in St. Augustine.

She was born in Pavo, Ga., and had lived in St. Johns County for 51 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hastings.

She is survived by a daughter, Betty Jean Gandy of Jacksonville; son, Jimmy Kight of Spuds; sister, Frances Whitten of Largo; brothers, Irvin Coffee of Orlando, Bill Coffee of Jacksonville and Charles Coffee of Thomasville, Ga.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be 10 a.m. today at First Baptist Church in Hastings with Rev. Charles Johnson and Rev. Doctor Armando Silverio officiating. Burial will follow in Palatka Memorial Gardens.

Craig Funeral Home in St. Augustine is handling arrangements.

Erma Lee Coffee and Leonard Kight were married. Leonard Kight was born in 1913. Leonard died in 1989 and was buried at Palatka Memorial Gardens in Palatka, Putnam Co., FL in 1989 .47116
