William Stanton Coffey, a well known farmer of Greensburg, died at his home in the Highland section 23 Dec 1951 after several months illness. He was born 25 Feb 1872 in Jamestown, Ky., a son of the late Mattie J. Bledsoe and Harvey Crittenden Coffey, Funeral services were held at the Hogard's Chapel

Methodist Church by the Rev. Hoyt C. Paraley, with burial in the church cem. He is survived by his wife, Mary Matherly Coffey, 1 dau, Mrs. Bruner Wade of Greensburg, a son, John R. Coffey of Cleveland, Ohio, 2 grandsons, Billie Symon and Pat Casey; 2 granddaughters, Becky Jo and Rita Sue Wade; 2 half brothers, Elza and Elmer Dickerson, 3 nephews and 2 nieces.

Active pallbearers were Coyce Moran, Roy McMahan, E.Y. Barry, Sam Berry, Linzie Dile, Mr. English. Honorary pallbearers were Mr. Smith, William Hicks, Waller Gaddie, Garnett Dills, Elija McMahan, Edmond McMahan, Owen Penick, Jake Moran, Boyce Milby, Grady –, Jackie Davidson.

Mary Coffey, 90, of 214 Bibb Street in Campbellsville died at 2 a.m., Sunday, March 31 at her home.

She was a member of the Hogards Chapel United Methodist Church. She united in marriage to William Coffey in Nov., 1915. He preceded her in death Dec. 23, 1951.

She is survived by one daughter: Gertrude Wade of Campbellsville; two grand-daughters and two grandsons; Rebecca Hickey nf Campbellsville; Rita Marshall of Columbia; Billy Symon of Chicago; and Pat Coffey of Dallas, Texas; three great-grandsons: John Hickey III and Matthew Hickey, both of Campbellsville; and Scott Symon of Chicago; several nieves and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister; Mrs. Leona DeSpain and Arvin Matherly.

Funeral was at 3 p.m., Tuesday, April 2 at the Hogards Chapel United Methodist Church in Campbellsvillle by the Rev. Clarence Bertram. Burial was in Hogards Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Larry Marshall, John Hickey Jr., John Hichey III, Matthew Hickey, Bobby Fisher and David McMahan.

Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Hime in Campbellsville was in charge of arrangements.
