Jerry "Monroe" Coffee, age 96, of McDonough (formerly of Mableton), died peacefully onMarch24,2014. Hewas preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Effie Lee Skinner Coffee, and granddaughter Sharon Lynn Haynes Houze. Survivors include children: Brenda and Frank Padovani of McDonough, Pat and Gary Kerce of Jackson, Judy and Roy Coffee Sr. of Franklin, TN; grandchildren: Gary Mayfield Jr., Greg and Teresa Haynes, Louis and Michelle Padovani, and Loretta Padovani, Sandra and Ron Therrien, Michelle and Roy Coffee Jr., James and Val Coffee, Brandon and Michelle Coffee; great-grandchildren: Michael Haynes, Michelle and Stacee Therrien, Tyler, Carter, Savannah, Sierra, and Kolton Coffee, Autum and Tatum Padovani, Alex and Lauren Zigler, and Kayla Cowan; and two great great grandchildren. An avid fisherman and golfer, he was a member of Callaway Golf Club. He had been employed by Exposition Cotton Mill, Mead Products, and Coffee Electric. He loved to sing and play harmonica. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00pm on Wednesday with funeral services at 1:00pm Thursday March 27, 2014 at White Columns Chapel in Mableton. Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery. Mrs. Pat (Miss Pat) Kerce, age 74, of Jackson, GA, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at Sacred Journey Hospice in McDonough. She was born on Tuesday, October 12, 1944, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Jerry Monroe Coffee and the late Effie Skinner Coffee. Pat retired from Lafarge North America Inc., as the human resource director for Alabama and Georgia. She also worked for Piggly Wiggly in Jackson for several years. Pat and her husband, Gary, competed in BBQ competitions all over the southeast and won the World Rib Championship Title and many other awards. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and community. Pat had a passion for fishing and was the founder of the Williams Brothers Bass Club and she was a representative for Daiwa Rod Company.

Pat is survived by her husband of 37 years, Gary Kerce; son and fiancée, Gary Mayfield and Paula Camp; brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Judy Coffee; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Frank Padovani; several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Mrs. Pat Ann Kerce will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, April 19, 2019 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery in Atlanta.
