FORT WORTH -- Frances Fielder Ledbetter, 88, passed away Thursday, Sept. 26, 2002, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Monday at Greenwood Chapel. Rev. Jerden Davis, officiating. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Frances Fielder Ledbetter was born Dec. 6, 1913, in Abilene. She was a member of the River Oaks United Methodist Church, River Oaks Lions Club and was a longtime resident of the River Oaks area. She will be missed by all who knew her. A special thanks to the staff at River Oaks Manor Care Nursing Home for their dedication in taking care of our loved one. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Ledbetter; and parents, W.H. Fielder Sr. and Dessie Fielder. Survivors: Brother, Roger L. Fielder of San Diego, Calif.; niece, Sally Van Gorkom of San Diego; great-nephew, Alex Van Gorkom and niece, Pat Gilley of Fort Worth; and other relatives and friends.
