Glen D. Bunch, 62, of Jamestown, died Thursday, Jan. 1, 1998, at his residence.

He was born in Jamestown on Jan. 4, 1935 to Dorothy Appleby Bunch who survives in Jamestown and Theodore Bunch who preceded him in death.

Mr. Bunch is also survived by his wife - Ruth Johnson Bunch; three sons - Michael Bunch, Larry Bunch and Billy Bunch; five daughters - Linda B. Hawkins, Brenda Bunch, Brenda J. Bunch, Mary R. Conner and Perry Bunch, all of Jamestown. Nice grandchildren also survive.

Others survivors include tow brothers, Arvin Bunch of London and Lle Bunch of Jamestown; three sisters - Rena Buchanan of Indianapolis, Ind., Mary Young and Joyce Coe, both of Jamestown.

He was a farmer.

Funeral services were Sunday, Jan. 4, at 2 p.m. at H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapels Inc. with Bro. Robert Conner officiating. Special music provided by Diana Hughes and Bobby Dunbar.

Active pallbearers were James Johnson, Jerry Johnson, Randall Brumley, James Hawkins, Gene Dunn and Doug Anderson.

Honorary pallbearers were Joshua Bunch and Jimmy Keen.

Interment was in Phelps Cemetery in Jamestown.

Glen D. Bunch and Ruth Johnson were married. Ruth Johnson, daughter of Granville Perry Johnson and Mary Frances Irwin, was born on 18 March 1940. Jamestown, Russell Co., KY in May 2001. Ruth died in Russell Co., KY on 18 May 2001 and was buried at
