2880. William Fine Coffey was born on 28 January 1830 in Mount Pleasant, Maury Co., TN. William resided with his parents in Maury Co., TN on 7 November 1850. He served with the 48th Tennessee Infantry (Voorhies') between 1861 and 1864 during the Civil War.

It does not appear that he died while serving. William died in an ambush by a Major Howell and Sam Morrow on 24 August 1864 at the age of 34 in Mount Pleasant, Maury Co., TN and was buried at Howard Cemetery in Columbia, Maury Co., TN.10326,10327,10328

William Fine Coffey and Priscilla Howard were married on 24 December 1850 in Maury Co., TN.10329,10330 They10329,10330 appeared in the census on 19 June 1860 in Mount Pleasant, Maury Co., TN.10331 Priscilla Howard, daughter of Willoughby Howard and Frances Cockburn, was born in 1826 in Mount Pleasant, Maury Co., TN. Priscilla resided with her parents in Maury Co., TN on 5 November 1850. She appeared in the census on 15 August 1870 in Mount Pleasant, Maury Co., TN.10332 She appeared in the census on 9 June 1880 in Collin Co., TX.10333 Priscilla died on 17 August 1899 at the age of 73 in Farmersville, Collin Co., TX and was buried at Farmersville IOOF Cemetery in Farmersville, Collin Co., TX.10334

Priscilla moved to Farmersville sometime between 1870 and 1880 with her sons Jefferson, Acquilla, Fountain, Willia, Willie and Franklin.
