Horace C. Coffey, age 79, passed away Sunday evening, August 14, 2016 at Beverly Park Health and Rehab. He was a member of Arlington Baptist Church. Mr. Coffey was a native of Bean Station in Grainger County but lived in Knoxville for the last several years. Member of the U.S. Army Reserve and worked as an electrician for several years.

Preceded in death by parents, Joe and Nannie Lou McAnally; brothers, Bill and Kenneth; sister, Marge Proctor. Survived by wife, Doris Aline Coffey; son, Brian H. Coffey; nephew, David R. Proctor of Alabama; nieces, Rachel Coffey of Kansas, Diana Kuhl of Michigan; boxer, Phoebe; host of family and friends.

Family and friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 18, 2016 with Minister Marty Henry officiating.
