My great great uncle, Nelson Coffey married Laura Epperson and they lived in Dry Valley. I have only two sons for them, Leanord and Lester. I don't have any info on Leanord or Lester except I do know Leanord kill Arch Singleton. Arch was my great-great aunt, Mary Monk Singleton's son.
Nelson Coffey was the son of Colby and Sarah Ann ( Parris ) Coffey. He was born August 28, 1884 and died Oct 1912 buried in the Epperson Cemetery in Grainger Co. TN. He married Laura Epperson. She was born May 8, 1884 died Feb 1, 1950 buried in the Epperson Cemetery [E-mail, Bernice Mullins to Jack Coffee, subject: Obits of Lester Coffey and Lillie May Harville Coffey, Jul. 8, 2005] Laura Epperson was born on 8 May 1884. Laura died on 1 February 1950 at the age of 65 in Grainger Co., TN and was buried at Epperson Cemetery in Thorn Hill, Grainger Co., TN.22096

Lester Coffey was born on 27 December 1908 in Tennessee. Lester died of pulmonary tuberculosis on 10 April 1928 at the age of 19 in Dayton, Montgomery Co., OH and was buried at Lone Mountain, Claiborne Co., TN on 14 April 1928.22097,22098,22099

Coffey, Lester – b. December 27, 1908; d. April 2 [sic], 1928. he professed faith in Christ at an early age. He was a sweet boy and the son of Nelyon [sic] [Nelson] and Laura Coffey. He leaves to mourn a mother, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. He joined the church at Dry Valley where he was a member until death. He is missed by his comrades and friends.
