Celia Coffey Barnett, 93, of Decatur died 2:50 a.m. Tuesday (Feb. 27, 1996) in Imboden Creek Living Center.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Brintlinger's Funeral Home with visitation 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Hall Cemetery, Blue Mound. Memorials: Pana Community Hospital Foundation.

Mrs. Barnett was born in Stoneington on June 27, 1902, the daughter of Walter and Catherine Rapp Coffey. She was a homemaker and a member of Central United Methodist Church since 1934. She married George R. Barnett on Jan. 12, 1924. He preceded her in death in 1972.

Surviving are her son, Walter Barnett and wife Carolyn of Pana; granddaughter, Debbie Wilson and husband Richard of Springboro, Ohio; grandson, David Barnett of Macon; great-grandsons, Micah and Nathan; great-granddaughters, Rebkah and Rachel Wilson; sisters, Alberta DeWeese and Esther Brame, both of Decatur; brother, Olin Coffey of Cerro Gordo; many nieces and nephews with whom she maintained a lifelong loving relationship.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, four sisters and grandson, Jeffery.

Celia O. Coffey and George R. Barnett were married. George R. Barnett was born on 11 June 1900. George died in Illinois on 8 August 1972 and was buried at Hall Cemetery in Blue Mound, Macon Co., IL in August 1972 .40113
