Hobert David Coffey--age 77 of Bean Station passed away Tuesday, October 14 at Morristown Hamblen Hospital.

He is preceded in death by an infant son, his parents, George and Bunes Coffey, a grandson, three brothers and one sister.

Surviving him are his wife of 56 years, Maudie Coffey, Daughters and son-in-laws, Wanda (Issac) (Cotton) McDaniel and Buena (Bill) Hipsher, sons, Jerry Coffey, Davis Coffey and Ray Dean (Kathy) Coffey all of Bean Station. Sisters, Phyllis Long of Bean Station and Anna Mae Dalton of Thorn Hill, brothers, Rufus, Gene and C. A. Coffey all of Bean Station, 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Saturday, October 18 at Stubblefield Funeral Home with the Rev. J. W. Dalton and the Rev. Jeff Dalton officiating.

Burial was in Meadow Branch Cemetery.

Maudie was born (date unknown).

COFFEY, DAVID RAY, age 57, of Bean Station, born Feb. 23, 1948, passed away Saturday, Aug. 6, 2005 at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare System after a brief illness. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Hobert Coffey; brother, Billy Coffey; nephew, Shannon Welch; and grandparents, George and Buena Coffey, all of Bean Station, and Harrison and Sarah Bolden of Tazewell. He is survived by his son, Christopher Coffey; one grandson; mother, Maudie Coffey; brothers and sister-in-law, Ray Dean and Kathy Coffey and Jerry Coffey of Bean Station; sisters and brothers-in-law, Wanda and Cotton McDaniel and Buena and Bill Hipsher, all of Bean Station; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9 at Stubblefield Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Grisham and the Rev. Charlie Hipsher officiating. Interment will be in Meadow Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 8 at the funeral home. Arrangements by Stubblefield Funeral Home in Morristown.
