Age 83 of Dayton, succumbed quietly Sunday morning, April 14, 2002 to the cumulative ravages inflicted upon him by our dangerously flawed American Health Care System.

Since first being misdiagnosed 3.5 years ago, Clyde courageously struggled against medical errors, incompetence, crippling bureaucracy, administrative callousness and ageist apathy.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Glatha Coffey Gray. He is survived by his daughter, Janet Michaelis of Oakwood; and grandsons, Trevor and Owen Morris of San Francisco, CA. Clyde was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII, serving in the submarine service in the Pacific, retired from NCR after 25 years as a Toolmaker, and was a member of the VFW. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 17, 2002 at Tobias Funeral Home - Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet Ave.
