Emiline Harville Dalton was born in the year 1889 and departed this life July 29, 1945 at the age of 56 years. She professed faith in Christ in her early youth and joined the Cedar Springs Baptist Church of which she remained a member until death. She was married to Carter Dalton in 1906 and to this union were born eleven children, five of them preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband Carter Dalton and six children, Effie Dalton, Greene Dalton, Jeff Dalton, Ethel Dalton, all of the home, Mrs. Orvil Helton of Morristown and and Mrs. Cornie Johnson of Tazewell. She also leaves four brothers and one sister.

Effie Dalton, age 66 of Morristown, formerly of Thorn Hill, TN was born April 9, 1909 to Carter and Emiline Dalton. She passed away March 3, 1976 at the home of her sister.

She professed faith in Christ at an early age and joined the Cedar Springs Missionary Baptist Church. Her parents and one son, Elmer, preceded her in death.

She is survived by 3 sisters, and 2 brothers. She was buried in the Dalton Cemetery, Broken Valley, Thorn Hill, Grainger Co. TN.

ROSE, ETHEL, age 85, of Ridgeview Terrace, passed away Thursday, Nov. 24, 2005 at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare System. She was a member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church in Thorn Hill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Giles Rose; parents, Carter and Emiline Harville Dalton; sisters, Effie Dalton, Ada Helton and Connie Turner; brother, Greer Dalton; and nephew, Elmer Dalton. Survivors include her brother, Jeff Dalton of Thorn Hill; four nieces, Fern (Clarence) Harbin of Morristown, Patricia (Leonard) Dalton of Bean Station, Lucille McGeorge of Thorn Hill and Sue (Kenny) Brogan of Franklin, Ohio; two nephews, Jerry (Sheila) Dalton and Wayne (Kathy) Dalton of Thorn Hill. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26 at Allen Funeral Home with the Rev. James Seal and the Rev. Aaron Seal officiating. Interment will follow in Bethesda Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-9 p.m. Friday, Nov 25 at the funeral home. Arrangements by Allen Funeral Home in Morristown.
