Rosa Mae "Rosie" Coffey and Walter Glenville Hembree were married on 11 September 1937 in Berea, Madison Co., KY. Walter Glenville Hembree was born on 10 April 1917 in Corbin, Whitley Co., KY. Walter died on 12 February 1993 at the age of 75 in Germantown, Montgomery Co., OH and was buried at Butler County Memorial Park in Trenton, Butler Co., OH on 15 February 1993.38274

Germantown - Walter G. Hembree, 75, of 9209 Carlisle Pike, died Friday morning at his residence.

He was a 28-year employee of Armco Steel, retiring in 1979 as a sweeper operator in the service group. He attended the Cornerstone Baptist Church of Miamisburg.

He is survived by his wife Rosie, four daughters, Leota Hicks of Carrie, Ky., Doris Cox of Franklin, and Mary Davidson and Lois Kammer, both of Middletown; four sons, Kenneth and James, both of Carlisle, Glendel of Franklin, and Joe of Germantown; two sisters, Viola Kirk of Lebanon and Loretta Smith of Cincinnati; four brothers, Joe, Jr. of Franklin, Ward of Trenton, Paul of Richmond, Ky., and James B. of Germantown; and 28 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward, in 1957, and Robert in 1992, and a granddaughter, Pam Cox, in 1974.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral home with the Rev. Frank Kelly and Rev. Todd Carmack officiating. Burial will be at Butler County Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. [Jane Hembree]
