Lynchburg, VA., October 15.-Mr. H. C. Farmer, a well known young man, aged twenty-one years, died early this morning at his home after an illness of three weeks of typhoid fever. The deceased was a native of Prince Edward county, and he was a well known young business man. He was a popular member of the Lynchburg Home Guards and a detachment from that command will attend the funeral and act as pall-bearers.

The deceased, in addition to his young wife of a few months, who was Miss Bessie Lawhorne, of Amherst county, is survived by his mother, Mrs. Sarah Jane Farmer of Prince Edward county, and five sisters and four brothers.

Bessie Lawhorne and Walter Linwood Hensley were married on 3 April 1916 in Richmond, Independent City, VA.14854 Walter Linwood Hensley was born on 30 June 1875 in Augusta Co., VA. Walter died in Florida on 24 October 1945 and was buried at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park in Tampa, Hillsborough Co., FL in October 1945 .14855
