THOMAS, Bertha Wilson Coffey, 92, of Rockbridge County, died Sunday, October 27, 1996. Surviving are two sons, Ralph Thomas, Carl (Bo) Thomas, both of Rockbridge County; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Graveside services were 2 p.m. Tuesday at Timber Ridge Cemetery.

Bertha Wilson Coffey and Kyle Marshall Thomas were married. Kyle Marshall Thomas was born in 1903. Kyle died in Virginia in 1952 and was buried at Timber Ridge ARP Church Cemetery in Lexington, VA in 1952 .29929

Carl Donald "Bo" Thomas was born on 16 September 1936 in Rockcastle Co., KY. Carl died in Roanoke, VA on 28 November 2012 and was buried at Timber Ridge Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Lexington, VA on 3 December 2012 .29930

Carl Donald (Bo) Thomas, 76, of Buena Vista, died Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born September 16, 1936, in Rockbridge County, a son of the late Kyle Marshall Thomas and Bertha Coffey Thomas.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ralph R. Thomas and son-in-law, Joe Boxley. Surviving are his wife of 33 years, Donna Thomas; two sons, James "Mickey" Thomas and wife, Robin, of Buena Vista, Terry Thomas and wife, Lisa, of Roanoke, three daughters, Maria Chase and husband, Andy, of Lexington, Donna Boxley, of Moneta, Angie Hille and husband, Jay, of Mexico, Maine; four stepdaughters, Patricia Ramsey, Vickie Wilford, both of Newbern, N.C., Missy Adkins, of Coburn, Sharon Kopitzke, of Moneta; 17 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. 

Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, December 3, 2012, at the Oronoco Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Arnold Bradley officiating. Burial will follow at Timber Ridge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in memory of Carl "Bo" Thomas to the Oronoco Church of the Brethren, 7242 Lexington Turnpike, Vesuvius, VA 24483.

Family will receive friends 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, December 2, 2012, at Bolling, Grose, &
Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Buena Vista.
