Funeral services for Ray Riddle, 22 year old youth of near Dooms who was killed Saturday evening when his car plunged in a dry mill race near old Coyner mill three miles north of here, will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. from Calvary Methodist Church, Stuarts Draft. The Rev. Fred B. Wyand, pastor will officiate.

According to Arkansas Russel, a Negro youth whom young Riddle had picked up coming toward Waynesboro, and who was slightly injured, the dead youth failed to make a turn and lost control of his car which plunged over an embankment into the abandoned race about eight feet in depth. His neck was broken.

The youth who is a son of John W. Riddle, who with Mrs. Riddle, the youth's mother, four sisters and six brothers survive. The sisters and brothers are: Mary, Catherine, Mabel and Louise; Raymond, David, Isaac, John Jr., Earl and William.
