She lived with her parents in Staunton, Independent City., VA on 11 August 1860. Lavenia died in Augusta Co., VA on 24 January 1927 and was buried at Mount Carmel Presbyterian Cemetery in Steeles Tavern, Augusta Co., VA in January 1927 .⁵⁵⁹⁷
