Evelyn Buchanan and Homer David Cogdell were married. They lived with her parents in Hamilton Co., TN on 9 January 1920. Homer David Cogdell was born on 5 April 1888 in Inverness, Bullock Co., AL. He registered for the WWI draft on 29 May 1917¹⁷³⁹⁴ He appeared in the census on 8 April 1930 at 430 1/2 South Phillips Ave. in Sioux Falls, Minnehaha Co., SD.¹⁷³⁹⁵ Homer died in Alexandria City, VA on 8 October 1956.
