Blanche McGee

Blanche Coffey McGee, 90, of Lenoir, died Monday, Oct. 30, 2000, at Gateway Nursing Home.

She was born March 7, 1910, in Caldwell County to the late Finley Coffey and Effie Turnmire Coffey.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank W. McGee; two brothers, Lloyd and Cloyd Coffey; and one sister, Coline Coffey.

She was a homemaker and a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Burke County.

Survivors include four brothers, Clyde F. Coffey, Vilas L. Coffey, Ernest E. Coffey and Hal Coffey, all of Lenoir; two sisters, Irene Hartley and Lois Coffey, both of Lenoir.

A graveside service will be held today at 2 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Brady Adkins officiating.

The family will receive friends today from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. at Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home.
