Theodore Kenneth Coffey was born on 14 February 1951 in Bay Co., Florida. Theodore died on 4 July 2005 at the age of 54 in Wake Forest, Wake Co., NC and was buried at Oxford Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery in Alexander Co., NC on 7 July 2005.

Theodore Coffey

Theodore "Ted" Kenneth Coffey, 54, of Chimney View Place, Lenoir, died Monday, July 4, 2005, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.

He was born Feb. 14, 1951, in Bay County, Fla., to Mrs. Lois White Shore of Lenoir and the late Jesse Alvis Coffey.

Mr. Coffey was employed as a disc jockey at Foothills Radio Group and was of the Baptist faith. He attended First Advent Christian Church of Lenoir and was a member of the Hibriten Masonic Lodge #262.

Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Mrs. Sarah Miller Coffey of the home; a son, Derek A. Laws of the home; two brothers, Ronald J. Coffey of Lenoir and Charles A. Coffey and wife Robin of Hillsboro; two grandchildren, Andrew Brian Laws of California and Alexandrea Diana Rose of the home.

A Masonic memorial service will be held Thursday, July 7, 2005, at 4 p.m. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Rev. Neal Walker. Interment will follow in Oxford Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be members of the Hibriten Masonic Lodge #262.

Honorary pallbearers are Derek Laws, Nick Hamby, Judson Miller, Kevin Watts, Jesse Coffey, Kirk White and Rick White.
