P1F1B: OVERVIEW: The “Coffey/Coffee/Keogh/Kehoe/Kaho” Family:

Traditionally, Coffey genealogists have focused on the descendants of Edward Coffey and Peter Coffey separately. But from a DNA perspective, Edward and Peter are part of a single family. And we also now have a Patrick Coffey who is related. And there are related lines with variations on the name “Keogh”.

 

After study, we have concluded these were all one family. And that this family was originally (maybe 500 years ago) “Keogh”. And the Keogh are an ancient Irish clan, and their homeland is County Wexford. Here are the pieces we put together, and the geographic conclusion:
