His parents were Gardner A. Teele and Emma A. Dean. Her parents were Henry W. Bolton and Mary Locking. (This is the first record I’ve found that named the mothers of the bride and groom.)

1910 CENSUS, WALTHAM, MIDDLESEX, MA: Louis G (age 21) and Grace G (19) Teele are in the same household with his parents. Parents are Gardner (41) and Emma A (41). Their daughter Dorothy G Teele is age 2 months.

WWI DRAFT REGISTRATION, 5 JUN 1917: Louis Gardner Teele of 82 Prospect St., Waltham. He is a watchmaker at Waltham Watch Co. He has a wife & two children.

1920 CENSUS, WALTHAM, MIDDLESEX, MA: Louis (age 30) and Grace (27) are there with children Dorothy (10) and Gardner (6). Louis works as a balance (?) in a watch factory. They have a roomer, Blanche Mac Williams age 21.

WALTHAM 1923 DIRECTORY: Louis G Teele and wife Grace G live at 10 Rich Street, Waltham. (They are also found in directories for 1925, 1928, 1930 and 1934. The 1934 shows that son-in-law Reilley Morgan lives at the same address.)

1930 CENSUS, WALTHAM, MIDDLESEX, MA: LOUIS (age 39) is a salesman (book?) and Grace (37) is a hairdresser. They were married when he was 19 and she was 17. Living with them is their daughter Dorothy Morgan (20) and son-in-law Reilley Morgan (20). Son Gardner (16) is there. and they have a grandson, Donald Morgan, who is under age 1. Grace says her father was born in England, and her mother in Canada (This helps confirm that the “Grace” found in the 1910 census is the same person!)

1940 WALTHAM DIRECTORY: Louis (age 49, working at Waltham Sales Book) and Grace (age 46 and a hairdresser), found living at 27 Leonard Street, Waltham. Son and daughter-in-law also in household. (They are also in the 1945 directory.)
