Scylor Edward Denney was born on 9 December 1933 in Wayne Co., KY. Scylor died at Wayne Co. Hospital in Wayne Co., KY on 17 January 2011 and was buried at Denney Cemetery in Coopersville, Wayne Co., KY on 19 January 2011 .

Scylor Edward Denney, age 77 was born December 9th, 1933 in the Fall Creek community of Wayne County the son of the late Johnny and Margaret Coffey Denney. He departed this life early Monday morning, January 17th, 2011 at the Wayne County Hospital after a long illness.

On December 27th, 1963 he united in marriage with his wife of 47 years, Lois Ann Kendrick Denney, who survives.

Surviving is his brother, Hubert and his wife Mary Ann Denney, with nieces, nephews, other relative and friends to mourn is passing.

He is preceded in death by his siblings: Verna (Spencer) Foster; Effie (Grady) Martin; Goldie (Jim) Brown; Dorothy (Albert) Thompson; Tommy Denney; Claude (Darlene) Denney and two infants; Clyde and Clara Mae Denney.

As a young man Edward accepted Christ as His Savior and became a member of the Big Sinking Baptist Church and was a member of the Steubenville Baptist Church at the time of his passing.
