Mrs. Laura Coffey

Ms. Laura Coffey died at the hospital at 12:20 yesterday of pneumonia following an attack of influenza. Mrs. Coffey had been ill several days and was moved from her home on East Thirteenth street yesterday to the hospital. She continued to grow worse until the end came. She is survived by eight children. He husband died a few months ago. Arrangements have not been announced.

Miss Eula Coffey

Miss Eula Coffey died yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock, at the City Hospital, following an illness of a few days with influenza-pneumonia. Her age was 16 years.

The body will be taken to North Wilkesboro on the 9:20 train this morning. The funeral and interment will take place there.

This is the fourth death in this family within the past two weeks. The mother, Mrs. Laura Coffey, was the first to die, and the children Mr. Hiram Coffey, Miss Thelma Coffey and Miss Eula Coffey, followed. All died of influenza followed by pneumonia.

Little Burnis Coffey

Burnis Coffey, the seven-year old son of Mr. Tom Coffey, died at the home on Thirteenth street Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock, following an illness of one week with influenza-pneumonia. The father and several brothers and sisters survive. The body will be sent to North Wilkesboro today and the funeral and interment will take place this afternoon at 3:30.

Little Cozelle Coffey

Little Cozelle, the one-year old daughter of Mr. Tom Coffey, died Sunday night at Hanes Emergency Hospital after a week's illness with influenza. The remains will be taken to North Wilkesboro this morning where the interment will take place.
