3304. Levi Coffey was born circa 1829 in North Carolina. He lived with his parents in Cherokee Co., NC on 1 June 1850. Levi enlisted in the in Co. G, Smith's Legion Infantry Regt. on 22 December 1862 at Towns Co., GA.11295 Levi died in Knoxville, Knox Co., TN on 20 July 1863 wounds received while serving with Co. G., 65th Inf. Regt., GA in the Civil War

In 1860 there is a Levi Coffey, age 25, residing in Watauga, Valle Crucis, NC withwife Temperance, age 18, and daughter, Sevina C., age 5 mos.

Levi and Catherine were married circa 1852, probably in Cherokee Co., NC.3723 They3723 appeared in the census on 14 June 1860 in Towns Co., GA.11296 Catherine Kilpatrick, daughter of Balis Jackson Kilpatrick and Mary E. Hunter, was born on 24 November 1830 in Haywood Co., NC.3723 She lived with her brother Abner in Shoal Creek Twp., Cherokee Co., NC on 23 July 1870. She lived with her son John in Turtletown Village, Polk Co., TN on 9 June 1900. Catherine lived with her son-in--law Jesse Coleman in Shoal Creek Twp., Cherokee Co., NC on 27 April 1910. She died between 1910 and 1920, probably in Shoal Creek Twp., Cherokee Co., NC.3723
