Dana W. Coffey

A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 1997, in Aloha Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses for Dana W. Coffey, who died April 15 of Gardner's syndrome at age 39.

Mr. Coffey was born May 1, 1957, in Covina, Calif. He moved to Portland in 1968. He served in the U.S. Navy. He was a cook. He married Margaret Resue in 1980.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Christopher, Andrew and Cody, all of Aloha; mother, Ann Porter of Idaho Falls, Idaho; father and stepmother, Lloyd and Laurie of Portland; sisters, Julia Mendoza of Portland, Suzanne Moore of Gresham and Lorraine Porter of Idaho Falls; brothers, Guy Coffey, Mike Porter, Danny Porter and Carl Porter, all of Idaho Falls, and John Porter of Moscow, Idaho; and grandfather, Melvin Kouse of Portland.

Disposition was by cremation. The family suggests remembrances to Legacy VNA Hospice. Arrangements are by Omega Cremation & Burial Service He was cremated in April 1997 in Portland, Multnomah Co., OR.

Dana William Coffey and Margaret I. "Peggy" Resue were married on 15 August 1980 in Reno, Washoe Co., NV.48465 Margaret I. "Peggy" Resue, daughter of Mary Paulette Dorrance, was born (date unknown).

Margaret was mentioned as a sister in the obituary of Charles Arthur Resue which appeared in The Oregonian newspaper on Dec. 11, 2003.

A gathering will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003, in Rose Grove Mobile Park in Forest Grove for Charles Arthur Resue, who died Dec. 4 at age 45.

Mr. Resue was born July 30, 1958, in Arlington, Calif. He had lived in the Portland area since about 1978, most recently in Forest Grove, and worked as a security guard.

Survivors include his mother, Jean; brothers, Ted Peal, Timothy Roberts and Donald Resue; sisters, Wanda Parsons, Naomi Johnson, Margaret Coffey and Carolyn Resue.
