North Wilkesboro, May 10--Mrs. Annie Lee Maltba, 45, of Taylorsville, died last night in the hospital at Taylorsville. Funeral services will be held at Carries [sic] Flat Church in Avery County Friday 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Surviving are four sons, Don and Ray Maltba, both of the home, Herbert Maltba and Claude Coffey of New York City; a brother, Clyde Dellinger of West Virginia; and two sisters, Mrs. Croswon Wike and Mrs. Daniel Loudermilk, both of Taylorsville.

Annie Lee Dellinger and Parris Coffey were married on 24 May 1930 in Watauga Co., NC.34224 Parris Coffey, son of George Washington Coffey and Tempey S. Calloway, was born circa 1906 in North Carolina. He lived with his parents in Globe Twp., Caldwell Co., NC on 9 May 1910. He lived with his parents in Watauga Co., NC on 6 February 1920. Parris was accused of killing Abner Laudermilk.34225

Murder Case Hearing Held

Mountaineer is Charged With Killing Man in General Family Quarrel.

Blowing Rock, N.C., Aug. 26. - Paris Coffey, charged with slaying Abner Laudermilk, at the home of Fred Coffey, who is a brother of Paris and husband of Laudermilk's sister, will be tried for murder at the fall term of superior court in Newland in October, according to information brought to Blowing Rock by H. D. Laudermilk, brother of the slain man.

Coffey was bound over for trial under $1500 bond following a preliminary hearing Saturday.

Abner Laudermilk was slain following a quarrel between Fred Coffey and his wife in which Mrs. Coffey's brother and brother-in-law became involved. He appeared in the census on 9 April 1930 at with the Frank Heyder family in Carter Co., TN.34226

Paris is said to have killed Abe Loudermilt who had earlier killed Fred Coffey.
