Eugene Coffey, age 49, of Radcliffe, Kentucky, died Friday, October 24th of a sudden heart attack while driving a police car in Fort Knox. Born in Russell County, he was a Kentucky State Police officer, and a member of the Stithton Baptist Church, Radcliffe. He was a son of the late Bascum [sic] and Opal Aaron Coffey. He is survived by two sons, Rodney and Derek Coffey, Radcliffe; a daughter Kristie Coffey, Radcliffe; five adopted children, Gary and Dan Coffey, and Mrs. Carlotta Roach, all of Rineyville, Mrs. Diane Wilkins, Louisville and Debbie Coffey, Oregon; five brothers, Ernie Coffey, Louisville, Bruce Coffey, Milford, Ohio, Darrell Coffey, Mt. Washington, and Lester and Carlos Coffey, both of Jamestown; and two sisters, Phebie Deming, Lansing, Michigan, and Carol Holt, Lapel, Indiana. Funeral services were held Monday, October 27th at 11:00 a,m. at Stithton Baptist Church in Radcliffe. Graveside services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Coffey Fmily Cemetery, Russell County. Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home and Rippetoe Funeral Home were in charge of funeral arrangements.

Phoebe Ann Coffey was born on 14 February 1937 in Russell Co., KY.²⁵²⁶⁴ Phoebe died at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills, Oakland Co., MI on 22 January 1985 and was buried at Coffey Cemetery in Olga, Russell Co., KY on 26 January 1985 .²⁵²⁶⁵ Obituary, unknown publication Phoebe Coffey Denning, age 47, died Tuesday, January 22, 1985 at the Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan, following a lengthy illness. Survivors include three children, Michael Graham of Texas, Allen gram of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Mina Denning of Southfield, Michigan, one grandchild, one sister, Carol Holt of Lapel, Indiana, and five brothers, Ernie Coffey of Louisville, Daryl Coffey of Mt. Washington, Bruce Coffey of Milford, Ohio and Carlos Coffey and Lester Coffey, both of Jamestown. The funeral was conducted Saturday, January 26, 1986, 10:30 a.m. at the Rippetoe Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Diehl officiating. Interment was in the Coffey Family Cemetery at Union Chapel.
