BEASLEY, Mildred Humphries , 76, of Radford, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 17, 1999 at Pulaski Healthcare Center. She was the daughter of the late Emmitt and Mable Humphries of Buena Vista, Va. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse James Beasley. Survivors include two sons and wives, Donnie and Carol Beasley of Tenn. and Charles and Charlotte Beasley of Radford; one daughter, Ellen Beasley of Radford; one brother, Vernon Humphries of Buena Vista; four grandchildren, Billy Beasley and wife, Nicole of Ohio, Luke Beasley and John Beasley both of Tenn, Heather Watkinson and husband of North Carolina; three step-grandchildren, Karen Whittaker, Becky Bane and Billy Whittaker; four great-grandchildren, Holley Beasley, Alexis Beasley, Morgan Whittaker and Tommy Bane. A host of nephews, nieces, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws. Her very dear special friends, Star and Jim Weikel whom she loved so very much. Mildred and Arthur Rupard, Dion Shaffer, Noely Hughett and Bill and Irene Altizer, these eight people were true and loving friends to the end. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 19, 1999 at 2 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Radford with Pastor O.D. Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday at the Seaver-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home in Radford and other times at the home of Charles Beasley, 7494 Ridge Road in Fairlawn. Charles Temple Beasley, 65, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at his home in Fairlawn. He was a member of Gethsemane Baptist

Church and was a United States Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse James and Mildred Humphries Beasley.

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte M. Beasley; children and their spouses, Karen and Bill Spangler, of Pearisburg, Becky and Tony Bane, of Parrott, William Ray Jr. and Shannon Whittaker Jr., of Apex, N.C., and Heather and Joe Blythe, of Charlotte, N.C.; five grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Donnie and Carol Beasley, of Tennessee; sister, Ellen Beasley, of Radford; and special friends Don Gessner, Mary Ryan, Joe Woolwine and Pauline Harris.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 15, 2012, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford, with Pastor Jerry Gibson and Pastor Randy Woolwine officiating. Military graveside rites will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
