"Staunton, Oct. 18 - A funeral service for Massie Lee Coffey, 59, who died Tuesday at King's Daughters' Hospital, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the I. T. Jacobs Memorial Chapel of the First Baptist Church here. Burial will be in Thornrose Cemetery.

"He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nettie Rife Coffey; two sons, Franklin L. Coffey and Leon R. Coffey, both of Staunton; two daughters, Mrs. Mary R. Hoover of Staunton and Mrs. Ruth V. Tafrawe of Baltimore, Md., and 17 grandchildren."
